Your First Visit
Patient Forms
Upon entering our office, our receptionist will welcome you as a member of our family. We will request that you complete our patient forms so that we can gather the information necessary to get you started on your journey to optimal health. This paperwork provides us with your health history and specifics of your condition.
Consultation
Next, you will have a complimentary consultation with Dr. Olivio Blanco Jr. to discuss your health-related problems and concerns. Here Dr. Blanco will assess whether your ailment is something that he can help you with. If it is not then Dr. Blanco will refer you to the appropriate specialist. If he can help you with your problem then he will tell you what he has to do to identify the condition.
Examination
After your consultation, Dr. Olivio Blanco Jr. will perform a complete chiropractic, neurological and orthopedic examination to isolate the fundamental cause and identify any contributing factors. However, nothing will be done in our office without your consent.
X-Ray and other Diagnostic Studies
Depending on your specific condition, it may be necessary to take X-rays or perform other diagnostic tests. These tests help us develop the most effective treatment plan for you, and alert us of any serious underlying conditions.
Report of Findings
Once the information is collected and examinations are performed, Dr. Olivio Blanco Jr. will give you a detailed report of all findings and answer any questions including:
- How can you help me?
- How often do I need to come in?
- What will I experience during my treatment time?
After reviewing your health history, goals, and examinations Dr. Olivio Blanco Jr. will discuss his professional recommendations and notify you if your condition requires care with other providers. Together you and Dr. Blanco will formulate the most effective course for you specific condition.
Healthcare Planner
Once you have received your specific treatment protocol and understand what it entails you can sit with our healthcare planner where all insurance and financial concerns will be addressed. Incorporating your wellness into your daily life is important and we want to make sure that you have all the best information and options available to you.
Treatment
Your initial treatment may include spinal adjustments, physical therapy, and/or soft tissue techniques. Dr. Blanco and his staff will communicate to you what you will be experiencing during and after these treatments for your awareness and understanding. Treatment is interactive, so you can express concerns about the different styles of treatment anytime.
